Facilities
We are housed in Richardson Hall and Peavy Hall on the Oregon State Campus.
Off-site engineering, materials production and wood preservation laboratories at the Oak
Creek Laboratory on the south edge of campus provide additional capabilities
for research and teaching. The Department is well equipped with modern equipment
and specialized support facilities such as walk-in climate-controlled chambers,
sample preparation workshops, testing laboratories, etc. Faculty and students
have access to carpentry, machine-shop, editorial, graphics, and media services
of the College of Forestry. In addition, the College maintains a computer network
system, a Helpdesk and up-to-date student computer laboratories and classroom
presentation technology.
